Closing the Year of the Snake 🐍

Someone recently asked me how I'm doing, and instead of saying “I'm doing well! You?” I was honest.

I told her I've been a little tired and lower capacity than usual this start of the year. And instead of fighting this feeling, I've been listening to my energy and choosing to not make it a problem for my business.

  • Part of me feels fired up, hopeful, expansive, and ready to go.

  • Another part of me honestly just wants to take a nap.

The old version of me would've been freaking out. Especially since I'm currently launching Brilliance (my six-month somatic business mastermind).

I'd probably be pushing harder, churning out more content, and overriding my body, especially around sales and marketing. Trying to take action on every single great idea I could act on. Probably bringing myself to the edge of burnout.

Or I’d swing the other way. I'd freeze, and tell myself that because I’m tired, I can’t work on anything at all. That I need perfect conditions to move forward.

But here's what I'm choosing to embody these days:

  • Easeful, sustainable growth doesn't require my 150% all the time.

  • It doesn't require me to feel perfect or high-energy every day.

  • Building generational abundance doesn't mean hustling myself into exhaustion.

Growing my business can be graceful and easeful. Not because nothing is hard, but because I'm choosing to move with my body, instead of against it.

What’s been especially affirming is what this launch is showing me:

I don’t need to push beyond my limits to move forward, be successful, and get to where I want to go.

To me, it's felt more like a dance. Showing up with my zone of genius and my truth, passionately. Listening. Connecting. Responding to the moment. I feel genuinely so excited to welcome the brilliant women, creatives, and entrepreneurs who are stepping into this next chapter with me.

What this has required of me is slowing down, clearing the noise, and recalibrating.

Getting clear on:

  • What do I actually desire?

  • What's the long game I'm playing?

  • What's my next, aligned micro-step I can take today or this week?

That’s what allows me to keep showing up for my business, even when I don’t feel like doing the most.

Don't get me wrong, I love what I do.

But to be fair, we're in the dead of winter. We're recovering from the holidays, there's so much we're processing collectively, and honestly…I feel like I've lived a whole life since 2016. Even since 2020 or even last year.

So of course I'm tired.

That doesn't mean I ghost my business or my life.

It doesn't mean I stop showing up.

And it certainly doesn't mean I want to go back to corporate.

It just means I'm keeping it simple.

Focusing on my zone of genius.

Celebrating small wins, building mini momentum.

Not getting lost in comparison.

Not trying to do everything, all at once.

Rooting for you,
Eunice
