17. Redefining Stability: Having Your Own Back No Matter What
In this episode of Embody Your Brilliance, I talk about stability, safety, and redefining what security actually means. Especially as a daughter of immigrants and an entrepreneur. I grew up hearing that stability came from hard work and a “safe” job: a prestigious college degree, a steady paycheck, and a recognizable company name. But over time, and especially in 2025, we’re seeing how even those “stable” paths aren’t always stable.
16. Leverage Your Unfair Advantage: Stop Fighting Your Natural Strengths
I believe everyone has their own version of an unfair advantage. Maybe it’s something that comes so naturally to you that you overlook it, or a strength you’ve discounted because it didn’t take effort. Especially as daughters of immigrants or eldest daughters, we were taught that value comes from trying harder. From pushing, earning, and proving. But what if it’s meant to be easier than that? In this episode, I share how I used to hide parts of myself (my business brain, my intensity, my ability to spot patterns and strategy everywhere), thinking they were “too much” for the healing space.
15. Finding Your Aligned Path: Coming Home to Your Body, Voice, and Purpose with Yoo-Jin Kang
In this episode, I’m sharing a replay of a beautiful fireside chat I had with my friend, Yoo-Jin Kang (a trauma-informed consultant, astrologer, and founder of Eldest Daughters Collective). We had an honest, unfiltered conversation about what it really looks like to come home to your body, your voice, and your purpose, especially as eldest daughters and daughters of immigrants. We talk about how to listen to your body and intuition in a world full of noise and expectations, and what it means to align your life and business in a way that truly reflects you.
14. If You’re Prioritizing Everything, You’re Not Prioritizing Anything
In this week’s episode of Embody Your Brilliance, I’m talking about prioritization. The reality is: if you’re prioritizing everything, you’re not actually prioritizing anything. 👀 As a multi-talented, multi-passionate eldest daughter of immigrants, I know how tempting it is to say yes to every brilliant idea, every opportunity, every role you could fill. But just because you can do something really well, doesn’t mean it should be your priority right now.
13. Action Precedes Clarity
In this week’s episode of Embody Your Brilliance, I share why waiting for perfect clarity before taking action often keeps us stuck, and how clarity can actually come through action.
As an eldest daughter of immigrants and recovering perfectionist, I intimately know the frustration of wanting everything mapped out before making a move.
The truth is, our nervous system and survival part of us will always scan for risk.
🗝️ The key is learning how to work with it so you can take aligned steps forward even when you do not feel 100% certain.
I take you behind the scenes of my own journey: from circling in indecision during pregnancy to finally hitting “send” on my newsletter after a year away, booking clients in a new direction, and discovering how action itself creates clarity.
12. Visibility as a Korean American (Re-Air with Camila Cardozo & Eunice Kimian)
This week, I’m sharing an episode I was featured on from my friend and brand photographer/videographer Camila's podcast Speak Your Truth and Look Good Doing It. In this episode, I open up about beauty, belonging, and what it really takes to feel safe being fully seen, on camera and in business.
11. Creativity Isn’t a Luxury: How Creative Expression Fuels Life & Business
In this episode of Embody Your Brilliance, I share why creative expression is a core value in my life and business. It’s not a luxury or a nice-to-have, it’s a non-negotiable. After nearly two years away, I returned to traditional Korean dance and felt that familiar surge of creative life force moving through my body. I talk about what this practice means to me as a Korean American eldest daughter of immigrants—and how prioritizing my creative expression actually regulates my nervous system, fuels my business, and helps me feel more alive.
10. Reintegration: Bringing All Parts of You to the Table with Betty Chan
This week, I’m sharing a replay of a LinkedIn Live conversation I had earlier this year with my friend Betty Chan, authenticity life coach, where we explored the theme of reintegration. Inspired by the TV show Severance, we talked about how many of us learn to “sever” different parts of ourselves to fit into roles or expectations. But over time, those hidden parts come knocking again.
9. Why First-Gen Entrepreneurs Need More Than Strategy (Re-Air with Mariela De La Mora & Eunice Kimian)

5. Why It’s So Hard to Feel “Enough” as a Goal-Oriented Daughter of Immigrants
If you’ve ever hit a major goal (signed dream clients, launched the offer, hit six figures, etc) and still felt not enough, this episode is for you.
I unpack the invisible pressure so many daughters of immigrants carry to constantly prove ourselves. I share why even your biggest wins might feel empty, and what your inner overachiever is really looking for.
4. KPop Demon Hunters & Reclaiming the Parts We Try to Hide
In this episode of Embody Your Brilliance, I’m diving into all things KPop Demon Hunters, a Netflix animated film that surprised me by how deeply it resonated with me.
It reminded me of the deep visibility work I do with daughters of immigrants, creatives, and entrepreneurs—especially when navigating the push-pull between hiding and shining.
3. Overcoming Visibility Fears & Feeling Safe to Shine as Daughters of Immigrants
In this episode, I unpack the deeper layers behind visibility blocks for daughters of immigrants and creative entrepreneurs.
Spoiler alert: It’s not just about confidence and "just doing it." It’s also about survival, cultural nuance, and nervous system regulation.
Drawing from my own story and the patterns I see among the daughters of immigrants I've supported, I explore why showing up online, sending that email, launching that offer, raising your rates, or sharing your creative work can feel so vulnerable—and what it actually takes to feel safe being seen.
2: Top 7 Lessons That Helped Me Grow a Peaceful, Profitable Business as a New Mom & Eldest Daughter of Immigrants

Whether you’re a mom, an eldest daughter, or simply someone building a more easeful, aligned business, this episode is for you.
